Storage manufacturer market entry, Thailand

Problem
establish what a foreign storage manufacturer must complete before it can sell into the Thai market.

Work
  • mapped the two distribution utilities' approved product requirements, identified national standards certification gaps, assessed grid code compliance obligations, and produced a phased twelve month plan naming the approval bodies.
  • the current phase extends this into energy management system and power conversion system regulation, alongside a wider grid code study.

certification queue

The binding constraint on market entry was the certification queue rather than commercial readiness.

Consequence
the launch plan was rebuilt around approval milestones, and the sales hiring schedule moved back accordingly. the current phase of work is carrying that same approval first logic into the equipment's control and conversion systems.
