m+ energy is a technical and commercial energy advisory and development practice founded by Max Mai, based in Taiwan and working across Asia Pacific.
The practice sits between disciplines on purpose. The work spans storage consulting, project management, business development, financial modelling, fund structuring and Southeast Asian investment assessment, currently covering industrial behind the meter systems, solar plus storage development, grid services and virtual power plant concepts, island microgrids, energy management logic, and regional market entry. Max's background before energy includes product development, digital commerce, supply chain coordination, data intensive research and cross border business development.
That combination produces a specific method. We start from the client's operating problem rather than the equipment catalogue. We use the client's own data rather than category assumptions. We keep the engineering and the commercial decision inside one model. We translate local rules into project logic that can be executed. And we state the result clearly enough for management to act on, including when the result is negative.
m+ energy is not an engineering contractor and not an equipment reseller. It is a small senior practice for finding the project logic that makes an energy asset useful, investable and deliverable.
