- assessed the existing rooftop solar installation's underused output, and built a behind the meter storage proposal aimed at recovering that value.

the solar generation was already installed and underused, so the proposal was a revitalisation case built around an existing asset rather than a new build investment case.
Consequence
the economics were framed around incremental value recovery, which carried a lower bar than a new installation would have needed to clear.
